2012 Spring Backpack 2 Hearted to Tahqua

Getting all the gear ready to go and then always wondering if the pack will be to heavy to carry.

The north country trail is a very beautiful hiking trail. We have pretty muched covered all of it in the U.P.

What does one do when so far from no where. Just take care of the problem yourself.

We are so far from now where and no phone reception. So we just left the car on the side of the road.

Hiking to the beginning of our journey as we broke down and could not get the spare tire released from under the car. It was totally rusted.

Very happy and fresh but this is not how you feel at the end of the journey. Accomplished but tired in the end is how one feels.

Ready to hike down that trail on our backpack trip.
