This was taken on the scenic Escarpment Trail in the Porcupine Mountains.

Dan, I've looked over your album many times over the last few months and enjoy it more each time. You are truely talented and deserve all the wonderful comments that have been made here about your photography. I should have done it months ago. This picture is one of my favorites and I am quite surprised that no one has stopped to comment. I love the way you've lined up the path with the river. I suspect that this path has some wonderful history. My imagined version will include native americans and virgin forests. Absolutely a great shot. Thanks, Ken

I love this photo. I also like the way the Carp is lined up with Escarp Trail. Nice work indeed

Inside front cover, with Dan's "technical" commentary as a caption, and Charlie's "leave it to Dan to give credit to someone else" follow-up. (Sorry, I can't find the date on that one, but Charlie'll know.)
