This cabin is just west off the intersection where OLD US27 M76 join north of Higgins Lake in Beaver Creek Twp. We stayed in this cabin often while the family cottage just down 6 mile Rd. was being built in the early 50s. In the early 60s the state took most of our property for the new US 127 freeway and we had to start all over! From 1950 to 1970 I spent many summers at our property there or up in the Copper Country! Yes good memorys there, and as my sister states here , (last I knew) this cabin still stands! Since the mid 70s our family cottage/property is now in Kalkaska county!
