The old barber shop looks so sad. It didn't look this way when I was a kid way back when in Hubbell. This was my grandfather's barber shop, Albert Hainault. I lived upstairs with my mom and dad when I was a baby.

When I was growing up in Hubbell, Mr. Hainault gave me many haircuts in my life. In the years following I always had Harry cut my hair when I visited Hubbell. It really is sad to see how the building has Deteriorated. It should be preserved as a landmark. Sad to see many of the old buildings being done away with. Weldon M. Dube' Glendale, AZ

Wow, the building looks so sad, compaired to how it looked when I grew up.. I got my first haircut there and had it cut for many years. First by Albert Hainault, then his son Harry. I lived next door. The old white garage and shed belonged to my grandfather Leo Marcotte. It too looks horrible compared to how it once did. Snow really built up on the roof and had to be shoveled off 4 to 5 times a year. Saw it up to 4ft thick at times on that roof.
I would clean off the sidewalk for Albert and later Harry in the winter.
