Hey you bums! Where are you these days??
The ship was a competitor's, something (i dont know what) caught fire, the crew got out safely and she sank. I heard they fought the fire for a while, but were, obviously, unsuccessful. Fire is the number one hazard at sea.

The Mistral was a seismic survey ship owned by CGG. She sank off of Trinidad while under tow with no casualties on 21 Dec 2002. The fire started in the engine room and engulfed the entire ship. The ship had just had a major refit worth millions of dollars on the seismic equipment before she sank.
