dive bombing hummingbird

I recall a pic posted on pasty where there were like 20 hummingbirds surrounding a feeder. I find that pic a hard sell as the bird in the background guards his feeder ferociously. No other bird has a chance at this feeder. It is necessary to get the shutter speed up around 2000 before you are able to freeze the wings on a hummingbird, even here there is movement. This requires great lighting, many hbird photogs have a multiple remote flash setup around their feeder. I just use the sun and a 2.8 prime 300mm
