I hope you have more of Bert's photography. I know it is a lot of work but this is such a great place to honor his talent. I wonder what he would think of this technology?

It would be interesting to know what kind of camera he used.

Bert put notes on many of his slides. Only camera he noted on the slides I have was a Leica Elmar. I know he also used a 2-1/4 camera, but not obviously for the slides. I suspect he would have enjoyed digital photography and the ability to share with so many people, and he would likely be a frequent contributer to Pasty Cam.
