Mskatie, it took me almost a week of on and off looking to find the nest. 2 days later it was empty and mama was gone so I think something got the eggs.

Are my eyes deceivig me or is that a snake in the killdeer nest just to the right of the eggs. I have seen a lot of killdeer nests on a local golfcourse and when anyone or anything gets close to their nest they will run away from the nest dragging a wing on the ground to distract attention from their nest...Great photos...
