Indeed it was a wonderful find. It also gives the casual tourist a real view of what copper actually looks like.

When was this found.I would go to the U.P. with Mom and Dad back in the 70's dont remember seeing this. BTW you got some great pictures

This piece was found by a diver friend of mine back in the early 90's off the shore in Great Sand Bay. It was recovered and placed in the Quincy Hoist House in 2001 and will stay there until the mineral museum gets moved next door to Quincy, where it will be moved and displayed there. Well that tells me why I didnt see in the 70,s...LOL Thax Capt.Paul for getting back with me so quick. When I get more time are other pic I want to ask you about.
