We used to have these wonderful sledding parties and then come back to our barn and roast hot dogs and marshmellows over a fire such as this!! I really miss those times. Thanks for bringing back such good memories!

Hubby and I are the only ones around here in Indiana that enjoy the fun of a campfire in the middle of the winter..especially when there is snow on the ground. Must be a Michiganer thing. ;)

Thank you. Winter doesn't stop me. We had Vollwerths roasted on a stick, and marshmallows for desert, then went on a snowshoe hike. Stayed by the fire until dusk, then snowshoed home. Aaaah.

Greta, I just love your pictures. We've always had bonfires on our shore in Bootjack during the summer but this looks worth trying too once I retire in the UP. Soon!
