Funny you should mention moose... I've seen one here before. Best time to see a moose is early a.m. or just before sunset.

Jim, Any chance you or others know the name of this pond? Just two days later, 10-11-04, I was driving from Big Bay to Skanee and stopped here for a photo break. I was surfing the web tonight and saw your stunning photo. Colors were just as strong two days later. No moose when I was here, but there was a very sick Canada goose in the pond just to the left of where you took the photo. It seemed blind and unaware of my presence.
