This reminds me...I have a friend who spent most of her childhood in Duluth, MN. She had a little "collection" of rocks she kept inside a depression like this one on the Lake Superior shortline. Years later, she went back, and her rocks were still there in her little cubbyhole. Her collection was not submerged in water, but it's still so neat that after years passed, the rocks still remained in their "secret spot".
