I love this little bird. I remember listening them do thier little chicadee dee dee, and watching them hop around in the snow. As a child living in the country I pretended they were my little friends. They are so sweet.

What a wonderful set of photos! Extraordinary detail and patience evident in bird photos. I am awestruck by the sunlight in the mushroom fields. You Finns take such good photos. Ray Laakaniemi, Willard, O., born in Trimountain, "grew up" in Iron River.

Nice shot, Fred. I know how hard it is to set up for a chickadee they don't perch very long. Usually just seconds. Nice depth in this photo.
