My brother Keith found this picture while surfing Pasty.com photos. It is our house on Ameek St in Laurium in June of 1957. Our Dad, John "Jack" Schaltz is the man on the left of the two men by the fence. The fire started by a spark under the eve where the fireman is shooting his water. We moved to First Street in Laurium after the fire. The house no longer exists, as it was distroyed by fire again years later. It was strange to see the house we lived in until our mid teens in this picture.
