The building that seems to be directly 'above' the QUincy #2 shaft-rockhouse is an old railroad depot, I think the DSS&A one. The other old depot in Houghton is further east, closer to the main business district. --You notice on the right-center of this picture a number of ruins. In the trees 'above' these ruins is the remains of the three-stall roundhouse that was part of the Quincy & Torch Lake railroad, the private railroad system of the Quincy Mining Company that they were able to pass off as a common carrier at one point!
