The 1910 U.S. Census records Richard & Sarah (Mackey) Trangmar residing in Franklin Township, Houghton County MI. The 1916-17 R.L. Polk & Co Hancock MI Directory shows the family living in Hancock on "Pine bet 3d and 4th." As the exact date of this photo is unknown, so is the precise location of this house. All we are certain of is that this house is somewhere in Houghton County - and that Sarah was understandably very proud of her beautiful flowers!
