My brother, a civil engineer, soil mechanic and all around good guy, says these are the 'oldest rocks on earth.' Who am I to argue?

Lake Superior magazine agrees with you, and something I love to bandy about with friends who have not yet visited God's Country. I also love the statistic that if all the water was to empty out of Lake Superior [or Grammaw's Lake, as the grandkids call it], it would cover the entire North and South American continents with up to a foot of water. Amazing, isn't it?
