this picture is absolutely fascinating. I am completely intrigued by the way the light is caught in the ice. what an eye you have.

Thank you! I was wandering around the woods enjoying the last evening light when I spotted this tiny icicle dangling from the evergreen branch. In my haste,wanting to rush the season,I was tempted to give it a little "doink" and watch it fall and shatter,but I just took a picture of it instead and decided to let nature take its course.

It almost looks like the liquid metal guy in Terminator 2. :p
