got wood?!

I HAVE gotten wood from here. Trouble is,I hike from home and it is a long way back.I use the wood for garden fences and props. There are some strange driftwood snakes and creatures lurking in the yard. They are low maintenance pets and they get along just fine with the flamingoes!

This looks like Rockhouse point?

It has been too many years since I've been to Toivola.

Thank you for giving me a look at it.

Yes,this is Rockhouse Point,my favorite haunt. I am fortunate enough to call this place my extended back yard.I went to school with the Naasko "kids" from Toivola. Tyyne was the cook at the Heikkinen School and I am told she could prepare the most awesome meals out of the barest of essentials. Thanks for the words!

Hey Joyce, just thought I'd add a comment to your page after my parents told me you had one. S. Hendrickson

My father and his 5 bothers and 1 sister lived 1/2 mile from the Naasko's from about 1920 to 1925 and were good friends with the Naasko family. I can remember going around a sharp 90 degree turn in the road..then going about 1/4 mile to the Naasko home.
