I can hear the nasal tone and the dragging of the last syllable in the word "precious". I hear the hissing sound too! There is only one way to pronounce it when referring to our critters. I miss the cross-eyed Kahuna. The table isn't the same without the centerpiece.

Joyce,
I was wondering where this picture was taken - it seems familiar. I have a cat and could never imagine him getting this close to water. :) I love your albums.

Thanks! This was taken along the Elm River in Toivola. One of my favorite berry picking patches border the river. This cat would hike along with the dog and me. I have so many pics of this cat in the woods and near the water. He knew the rules. He stayed with us and never strayed off the path. He'd fall asleep on the riverbank when I'd lallygag. We'd take breaks on the hike home. I've carried him many times, vowing never to take a cat berry picking again. He would spring into action at the sight of the bucket. Sad but true,he disappeared last October. He ruled this household for 6 years. Seems every day someone around here mentions Super Chunk. He will never be forgotten.

My cat Jimmie the fat white cat could pass for your cats twin. Got Jim from the pound his previous parent died and we took him in he was a little kitten and now is a twenty pound ball of fun. Makes my day being around him.
