This design has been a source of wonder and mystery for years. A head of cabbage with the outer leaves unfurled? The sun? Some sort of flower? Feathers and leaves?
One of the custodians used to tell the students there is a hidden camera in the 'eye' of the sculpture. Maybe there is!

I have spent a lot of time looking at these sculptures and wondering the stor behind them. I bet a lot of people don't even know they are there seeing as they are behind the school. Thanks Joyce! If you find out any more info keep up posted. Maybe someone can help us out??
