I, too, have camped a night or 2 in a tent setup this way. My wife now asks, everytime we used to camp, "Did you bring the poles?" I guess it just adds to that true outdoor experience!

Yeah, I had a few experiences over the years like this one too. So many, in fact, that my wife started saying, "If I can't slam the door, I ain't sleeping in it!"
